Join us on the evening of Sept. 24, 2024, for a Compiler Pop-Up Series event at Cornell Tech's Roosevelt Island campus in New York City featuring Julie Inman Grant, Australia’s eSafety Commissioner, as we celebrate the launch of the university's Security, Trust, and Safety Initiative.
Inman Grant heads the world’s first government regulatory agency focused on ensuring online safety. In a candid and timely conversation with Tazin Khan, CEO and founder of the nonprofit Cyber Collective, she will delve into the future of online safety in an era marked by the rapid rise of generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and others.
This intimate and interactive gathering will explore solutions to one of the most pressing issues shaping the future of trust, media, and democracy. The event coincides with the United Nations' 79th General Assembly, where global leaders will also be discussing international approaches to regulating artificial intelligence.
