Cyber Collective makes it easier for people to feel safer, secure and confident in their digital experiences NOW—so that we can have a better future.
We meet tech users where they are and use collective practices to build trust.
We are influencers and digital natives, responding in real time to trends and current events with engaging, relatable content.
We represent the at-risk communities we serve, so we’re the best translators of tech concepts for the intercultural and cross-generational populations we serve.
From social media content, to user-friendly resources on our website, to courses on Internet Street Smarts, our educational programming reaches tech users where they are and delivers information that is easy to understand and share.
Through town halls, workshops, and other events held in-person and online, we create supportive settings to learn and share experiences about personal cyber security. Often regionally focused, our events are presented with local government leaders, private companies, schools and universities, volunteers, and others.
Our wide range of programming is delivered to digital natives through a racial and social justice lens, honoring identities and lived experiences and minimizing the need for code-switching— ultimately creating a safe space for learning and growth.
Cyber Collective is inspired by a diverse set of values, skills, and best practices that aren’t often connected let alone applied to tech problems.
Our method is broken out into 7 pillars, but is by no means is it a linear experience. Each pillar is rooted and connected to another.
To measure our impact, we combine digital marketing metrics around awareness and engagement with sentiment and behavior change analysis to track the effectiveness of our programming.
We collect this data through:
• Surveys and pre- and post- engagement assessments
• Focus groups post-workshop
• In-depth interviews with participants
